It's always funny when people say we ought not to forbid any activity in church meetings since we can do them in our homes. (Never mind that they don't take such suggestions to their schools and workplaces).
So, we sleep in our houses too. Can't we just have a sleeping seminar? Where we all come to sleep? Wait upon the Lord for dreams or night visions? After all, He gives His beloved sleep.
We play video games at home? Would it be bad to have a Video Games Sunday where we glorify Jesus in a mortal kombat way? I'm tempted to cite an example of something else we do outside church, but I repent.
There are lots of things we do AS THE CHURCH, in our homes and that's fine. We're still the church when we close meetings. So it just means, when we scatter as a church, in our individual homes we can do all those secular and social activities freely. (Some folks get drunk on movies and sports literally). But when we gather, we know why we gather, right? Hebrew 10:25; 1 Corinthians 14:26. To take our attention off the world and all we busy ourselves with, and to set our mind, will, and affection on Him. Any local church committed this way will help believers break free from extreme devotion to the pleasures of this life, even in their individual spaces. The reason many don't feed on the word and pray is because they've being mastered by these earthly, pleasurable activities. So we don't need to fan that into flames when we gather to edify ourselves.
Enough said

Leading of The Spirit(Direction in a simple way)1

John 8:12(KJV) 12[Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, ] I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Light is a gift in Christ. Jesus speaks of followers. Followers are believers .Disciples. We become disciples by the gospel . Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) 18[And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ] All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. The Narratives of Luke in the book of acts relates this well. It calls believers disciples and disciples are believers. Ephesians 5:8-9 (KJV) 8[For ye were sometimes darkness, but now ] are ye[ light in the Lord: walk as children of light:] 9[(For the fruit of the Spirit ] is[ in ...

#FUNCTIONING LIKE GOD#8

The spirit of a man is the essence of Him The spirit has a soul and lives in a body But the realness of the trio Is yet the spirit   God is Spirit by nature So when He created you and I In His image and likeness created He us That we may function even like Him So just like the Spirit of God is the essence of God So is the spirit of man the essence of man   But before a man can fully function like God He needs the Spirit of God To yet fill his own spirit To make possible the fellowship of Spirits Like it was in the garden of Eden   If you have received into spirit The spirit which is of God Then you need to continuously fellowship with HIM To fully manifest the person of God And to function like Him   If you have believed in Jesus Christ But have not received into your spirit The Spirit of God Then all you need to do Is to ask the father in faith Who alone give good gifts ...
