How to become a Son of God.


What man lost at the beginning was a relationship with God. Without this relationship with God, man feels empty, void, incomplete and is eternally damned.
To feel this void, many people resort into drinking, smoking and other destructive habits.. Some people resort into more education, pursuit of success, some think having a great family life can fill this void. Yet others try to be religious, trying so hard to please God thru religious services. Yet, none of this can fill this void.
The problem is that WHAT CAUSED THE SEPARATION BETWEEN GOD AND MAN WAS SIN. And any of the above-mentioned method is NOT capable of removing the problem of sin.
However, God has solved this problem of sin Himself, by punishing our sins upon Himself. He paid the penalty of sin Himself, by death on the cross, as a man Jesus. HE THEREFORE MADE OUR FORGIVENESS AVAILABLE IN CHRIST.
John 1:12
"But to ALL who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God"
So, to enjoy this amazing ONCE AND FOR ALL TIME FORGIVENESS, ALL WE NEED TO DO IS TO PURPOSEFULLY TRUST CHRIST AND HIS SAVING POWER, HIS BLOOD.
Salvation does NOT mean I will try and stop doing bad things. Salvation means I will accept what God the Savior did on my behalf.
Salvation means I have come to the end of myself and all I tried to do to earn God's favor.
Salvation means I repent of my self righteousness and I accept God's righteousness in Christ Jesus.
Salvation means I accept God's Love and consciously accept Jesus as my Savior, my Lord and the only way to God.
I believe He died for me on the cross. He paid for all my sins. He paid for my rebellions. He paid for my evils.
I come to Him just as I am. I have nothing to offer but I receive His Unconditional Love for me. I receive His forgiveness. I receive His Grace. I receive HIs mercy.
From my heart, I look unto Jesus and I come to God through Him and His righteousness alone. I accept His Eternal Love. I accept His Total forgiveness in HIs Blood. I accept Him into my heart as my Lord and Savior.
Voice those words to Him FROM YOUR HEART now as the expression of your faith in Him, and MEAN EVERY ONE OF THOSE WORDS. You will experience His peace which comes from His forgiveness. His forgiveness will be credited to your account and you will receive the Gift of Eternal Life which shall preserve you in Him for all eternity. Amen.
