The believer in Christ and Sorcery (voodoo ,jazz ,juju)

Pastor Onayinka Olusegun teaches The believer in Christ and Sorcery (voodoo ,jazz ,juju) Scriptures were written for teaching and explanation 2 Timothy 3:15-16 KJV [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: The focal point of all Old Testament writings is salvation through faith in Christ . This is what is taught and explained . Romans 15:4 KJV [4] For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. When we read its stories ,it gives us what to expect and look out for in Christ . The writer of Hebrews was more succinct Hebrews 11:3 KJV [3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so th...

GRACE HAS NO BALANCE

Pastor Samuel Duyilemi says "No Balance The law is a mindset... And Grace is a mindset too... The most irritating thing about some believers of these days is trying to get a balance between the law and Grace... And then be terming it as truth... There can never be a balance between self effort and divine power... Many have only not understood how this divine power works, and so they doubt its workings in the life of those who claims that it works in them... See God doesn't want you to put the new wine of Grace in the old wine-skin of the law, in the name of trying to get a balance... Jesus was a first Class law teacher, and taught the law in plain terms, but Grace, he only taught it with parables, why? So that seeing they might not see... And hearing they might not hear... Arrggg!!! You see Bro, you say Grace saved us, but law disciplines us to not keep sinning...(If I quoted you rightly) That's funny... We are indeed saved by grace... That...

JUST READ!

Dear minister of the Gospel of Christ (I can't title this, decide what title it is, but please READ carefully and patiently) Acts 28:3-4 KJV [3] And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. [4] And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. There are several times ministers of the word are so badly branded by men ,based on certain experiences they have or have had and mostly via wrong perception . Here paul was deemed to be suffering for not being of God . Ministry comes with its warts and farts . We are dealing with men Many times not on ordinary terms Ephesians 2:2 KJV [2] Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now wor...

Right and wrong thinking 3

Pastor Onayinka Olusegun teaches "Wrong thinking produces wrong believing Job typified this in his words Job 2:10 KJV [10] But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Just like many Old Testament folks ,he knew next to nothing about the devil . He spoke presumptuously . Job 42:4 You ask how I dare question your wisdom when I am so very ignorant. I talked about things I did not understand, about marvels too great for me to know. 5: In the past I knew only what others had told me, but now I have seen you with my own eyes.( NLT) Job had lived in presumption Job 1:5 KJV [5] And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my so...

What the Apostles preached (GRACE or LAW)

They preached radically in Jerusalem. Threats and accusations from men could not stop them. One day, they taught a multitude at Solomon's Porch. The religious mafia got mad, seized them and put them in prison. But at night, an angel of God set them free. A rational man would go into hiding to avoid further harassment, yeah? Not these folks! They WENT BACK to the Temple and CONTINUED teaching! What kind of Gospel do you think these guys believed? Definitely not what we hear in most Churches today! "Do good, get good" couldn't have produced such fervency, only the Gospel of the Grace of God could! Josh Bank https://www.facebook.com/bankyu.samuel

TIMELY COUNSEL TO YOUNG MINISTERS

Of Saul of Tarsus and Apollos... and others (timely counsel to younger minister Scriptures are replete with several prototypes. As the Word begins to grow and have influence in places these prototypes appear We have the Simon magus Acts 8:18-19 KJV [18] And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, 19] Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. Before they saw the light, they had certain queer materialistic doctrines, they believe in sowing to get. Born again, in the midst of word people but not a pure breed. 1 Timothy 6:5 KJV [5] Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. He is a sower for prosperity not a giver to meet needs of others. May their tribe never increase further, Amen. Then we have Saul of Tarsus... At salvation, he's so zealous . ...
